The mental health and addiction sector in Ontario,Canada can be confusing and overwhelming. The ConnexON app from ConnexOntario Health Services Information allows users to locate mental health and addiction services funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (MOHLTC).

ConnexON is an aid for those locating resources that assist youth or adult populations – both in communities and on-campus at post-secondary schools.

Users may search by municipality, post-secondary school, service type, presenting issue, and substance, as ConnexON utilizes the comprehensive ConnexOntario database – the only “complete picture” available regarding MOHLTC-funded mental health and addictions services.

ConnexON users that find a suitable program or service, and want to know the level of availability and any wait-time to access the service, the criteria for access, etc. can use ConnexON to call one of ConnexOntario’s three, free, 24/7 helplines.
