Acharya Vinoba Bhave Sikshak Sahayak Karyakram (Vinoba program) aims to improve quality of education in government schools by supporting and motivating teachers. Vinoba program also supports district administration to efficiently implement Holistic education - academic programs (like Foundational Literacy & Numeracy FLN, practice tests etc..) and life skills programs (like poetry recitation, story telling, science club, environment club, kitchen garden, teaching learning experiments etc..)

Vinoba app provides the backbone of the program. It provides a platform and tools for teachers to engage, share and learn from each other – through videos, images, pdf etc... Teachers can easily share their work from club activities, classroom, events in the school. This helps them to like and share, learn from work of other teachers and best practices – in the district and state. Teachers also have access to weekly plans, daily plans, activities, worksheets, Videos etc.. In the process the teachers make a portfolio for themselves. They can also see portfolio of other teachers and follow like-minded teachers with similar interest. School portfolio is also developed in this process.

Education officers can easily record and share about their experiences and observations on school visits, school activities, classrooms. Infrastructure etc..

Administrator can share announcements, circulars, TLM etc.. Teachers can easily find these resources on the app without wasting time to search across emails and whatsapp. The district administration can easily collect information from the teachers and education officers through variety of data collection channels like forms, xls, OMR sheets, pdf etc.. Data analysis from these - provides the basis for reward and recognition and corrective action through feedback loops. All this information and leader boards are accessible from the Vinoba app making the recognition process transparent and objective. The teachers can redeem their points from good performance and seek the awards of their choice.

Through sharing of work by school teachers, announcement and information dissemination by administrators, data collection and analysis for educational programs, rewards and recognition of teachers and education officers who are doing well - Vinoba program helps to build a vibrant teacher community and improve learning outcomes in the government schools in rural India.

Vinoba program is presently operational in 23 districts with over 38,000 schools, over 130,000 teachers and impacting over 2.5 mln students.
