Woodwork contains 8 very useful tools for the construction site!

Woodwork is a collection of 8 different tools for wood crafts. Professionals can just use Woodwork like students and amateur craftsmen. Woodwork is meant to be out of the office quickly check a few measurements or to recalculate. Woodwork is very suitable for the construction site!

1. Arrangement

You can arrange, for example, a joists, fence boards or roofing-tile batten. Here you only need to specify:

- Outer dimensions, inner dimension or width across corners (further explanation in point-info - in the app)

- Width of binned part

- Material thickness of the bar or rod

- You can choose between "number of existing rods" and "desired dimension between axes of the rods"

- The app calculates all the necessary clearances

2. Angle calculation

Here you can select between a rectangular and an irregular triangle. Enter their existing dimensions. The app calculates all necessary measures, such as missing sides and angles, area, perimeter and radius of innercircle and outercircle. The third point, a right angle using the 3-4-5 method (Pythagoras) is determined. Here you need to know only one side of the triangle. In the fourth point, you can measure the angle using the camera and the G-sensor.

3. Dimension Beam

You want to know how strong beam at a given span and a particular load case should be? The app calculates out the strengths of past experience. They naturally, therefore, does not serve as static verification.

5. Hip rafter

Especially with the renovation of old roofs you have on the site sometimes " tinker" a hip rafter. The app calculates ridge-angle and inclination of the Hip rafter.

6. Circular cutout

Circular cutouts are often required for dormers, windows, doors, or for decorating.

Enter two of the required dimensions and the app calculates, for example, Cutting height, central angle, width and radius. Enter the width of the desired distances from the center and draw it upwards. You only have to draw the calculated values from the center to the outside of the respective measure and there is a circular line after which you can cut your workpiece.

7. Identify Wood species

You need good light and a magnifying glass. Cut the end grain with a sharp craft knife. Look carefully through the magnifying glass and answer all the questions in order and then find out to what type of wood it is.

8. Scale

Calculate with different units in different Scales.
