Turn your phone into a noisy Valve's Portal turret.
Turret Notifications is a Valve's Portal-inspired application that aims at turning your smartphone into a noisy turret playing actual game sounds in response to various phone events.
Please note this is an unofficial fan-made application with free material found online.
List of phone events with a "turret notification":
- Phone boot completed
- Phone shutting down
- Power plug
- Power removed
- Screen off
- Screen on
- Bluetooth turning on
- Bluetooth on
- Bluetooth off
- No connectivity
- Localization on
- Localization off
- Any regular phone notification with sound
Setup:
- At first start you'll be asked to allow Turret Notifications as Notification Listener in your device, please press Yes
- You'll be redirected to the setting's page and should be able to see Turret Notifications among the listed names
- Check the relative checkbox and press "OK" one last time in the confirmation dialog that will open
- Use your phone as you would normally
Usage:
- Open the application and tap anywhere on the screen to turn turret sounds on/off
- The screen background will change according to the actual state: red - ON, grey - OFF
- Exit the application and just use your phone as you would normally
- Adjust sounds volume by settings notifications volume in your system
