Initially, all the pieces are at the base. We throw a single die. You have to make a 6 to place a pawn on the starting square. Subsequently, we advance a pawn already in the track of the number indicated by the die, in the direction of clockwise. The pieces move from one column to the perpendicular column through the corner of the box. A pawn that ends his run on an opposing pawn sends him back to his base.
