Social Sport
The Social Sport programme offers free, competitive sport that allows the participants to play socially in both weekly leagues and a series of one day events throughout the academic year. You can represent your department, society and/or as a group of friends. You can define your own level of competition. Many students get involved to take a break from their academic commitments, some play for the social aspect and others enjoy competing with their peers.
Social Sport Leagues
The leagues and one day events are free* to join and all equipment is provided. Not only are they great ways to play competitive sport at the university the Social Sport programme is a fantastic way to stay active and socialise.
Social Sport One Day Events
We run a series of one day events throughout the academic year in a wide variety of sports that you can get involved with. The events for 2019/20 will be announced in early October.
