The world cup 2014 app lets you predict the scores for the world championship football 2014. It has all kinds of statistics to aid you in making your prediction, and you can create pools with your friends to compare your prediction with them.

During the World Championship the scores will be updated in the app and points will be awarded for correctly predicted outcomes of matches. Points will be awarded in the following manner

Pool phase:

correct winner: 1 point

correct score team 1: 1 point

correct score team 2: 1 point

correct score team 1 and correct score team 2: 2 points

correct team finishing first in the group: 2 points

correct team finishing second in the group: 2 points

correct teams advancing to next round: 2 points. (only when in wrong order)

Knock-out phase:

Same points per match as Pool phase

Correct prediction for extra time: 2 points

Correct prediction for penalties: 2 points

For every team that is correctly predicted to go to the next round; 10 points.

Correct winner of the WC 25 points.
