VAT Number Search

增值稅號碼為基礎的搜尋有關公司/專業人士的基本信息。

VAT number-based search for basic information on companies / professionals.

It is possible to choose between two web services:

i) The VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) for companies registered in EU.

The VIES service requires no password, but returns less information.

Moreover it can search for companies / professionals in all EU Member States.

Tax registry data returned by the service:

1. Validity indicator

2. Member State

3. VAT Number

4. Legal / Physical Name

5. Address

ii) The G.S.I.S web service "Basic tax registry information on legal persons, legal entities and physical persons having income from entrepreneurial activities".

This service returns more detailed information, but registration is required (through a related web page) so that a Username and Password are provided (for more information see inside App or at http://www.gsis.gr/gsis/info/gsis_site/PublicIssue/wnsp/wnsp_pages/wnsp.html )

Tax registry data returned by the service:

1. A.F.M. - Arithmos Forologikou Mitroou (Tax Registration Number)

2. D.O.Y. code and description

3. Legal / physical person indicator

4. Active / deactivated AFM indicator

5. Entrepreneur / non-entrepreneur / ex entrepreneur indicator

6. Legal / Physical Name

7. Commercial Title

8. Legal Type description

9. Address

10. Registration / Deactivation date

11. Economic activities. For each activity:

a. Activity code and description

b. Activity type (main, secondary, other, assistive)

Additional Features:

- permanent storage of multiple search results

- deletion of temporary results

- export/storage of search results in text files

- transmission of search results via email or other messaging applications (e.g. SMS, Evernote, etc.)

- projection of the results' address on Google Maps
