Archbyssal the evil mage killed your brother and userped the throne. In the seat of power, he engaged in corruption, benefitting himself at the expense of the population. Lives are lost as the city slowly fell apart. Its up to you to make a difference. Keep in mind that wherever there is chaos, there is also opportunity... Opportunity to do whatever you want and get away with it.
