Quiro is a minimally invasive surgery simulation video game for tablets that allows medical students and professionals to develop their surgical skills.

Now you can use your tablet to practice your surgical skills anytime, wherever you are.

Minimally-invasive surgery (MIS) is quickly replacing open surgery as the standard for an ever-increasing variety of procedures. However MIS requires from the surgeon a specific set of skills that are hard to acquire without practice. Surgical simulators are widely acknowledged as the best way to train for surgery, since it allows surgeons to practice in a realistic manner without risking harm to real patients.

Quiro v2.0 includes several training exercises and challenges that allow you to master the usage of the minimally-invasive camera, first in an controlled black-box environment, then within the human anatomy.

Future updates will add other instruments and the ability to practice arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries in full.

Please note that this application has been developed for tablets and large-size smartphones. Your experience may not be the best if you install Quiro in a small-screen device.

This application is a free download that allows you to play the first levels of camera training.

An In-App Purchase (IAP) is required to unlock all the available levels.

We recommend that you download, install and try out the app before making a purchase.

Quiro is available in English and Spanish.
