In an effort to heal the wounded society and ​instill​ good values, qualities, morals and wisdom, the media organization Mahamegha was born back in 2010, under the guidance of Ven. Kiribahgoda Gnanananda Thero, the founder of Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery, Sri Lanka. While delivering the products and services worldwide, in a chain of non-profit charity projects at different stages, Mahamegha advances into another step by introducing the Mahamegha App via mobile devices, addressing the majority in a convenient and effective manner.

With the Mahamegha App, we make the latest magazine available to read online, free of charge. Apart from that, all the previous magazines, news and featured articles, discussions, videos, image albums, Dhamma advices and many other interesting items are available to refer, download through this App.

Covering the areas such as Buddhism, history, agriculture, philosophy, technology, science etc., Mahamegha publishes articles relevant to ongoing social matters, world issues, famous news topics etc. Each and every clickable icon on Mahamegha App is expected to add extra value, going beyond the user’s usual expectations with the pure, noble teachings of The Supreme Buddha, Gautama.
