Jean Paul's High school stands tall and proud in the heart of Ara town in front of Shahid Bhavan near Ramna Maidan with its Junior wing (up to Std. V) and its senior wing (Std. IV to XII) located at Dhanupara in the lap of the ambi-ence of nature. It got its existence in 1990. It began its journey with meagre 15-20 students from the residence of its founder President Late Brajendra Prasad Sinha at the east of Ramna Road, Due to its effective way of imparting education under the leadership of its Principal Dr. Madhu Sinha the strength of the school went on rising higher and higher. Session after session it started in gaining more popularity and prestige even among the general masses due to the bravura demonstrated by its students in academic and extra-curricular a renas equality. Finally it received the affiliation of CBSE New Delhi for Std. X in 1998 and for Std. XII in 2000 respectively.

Jean Paul's High School got its name in the honour of sir JeanPaul's Sartre - The French Philosopler and Nobel prize winner for the theory of existentialism.

Today it is a common sight to find the school campus overflowing with buds ready to bloom and spread their fragrance in all the directions to charm everyone.

Our school Jean Paul's High School, Ara came into existence in 1990 when a need for public school was felt by the residents of Ara. The school is located near Ramna Maidan infront of Shahid Bhawan, Ara. Its naming took place to honour the French Philosopher Jean Paul's Sartre, who was awarded with Nobel Prize on his theory of existentialism. In 1990, the school was run up to Std. V and then gradually developed up to 10+2 with the passage of time. Our school got NOC (No objection certificate) by the government of Bihar in 1994. After that the arrangements were made to fulfil the requirements of CBSE for its affiliation, Finally it got affiliation from CBSE in 1998 for class X in 2000 A.D. for class XII respectively.

The dynamic leadership of our Principal Dr. Madhu Sinha, Secretary Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sinha, Managing committee head Miss Pankhuri sinha and a team work of teachers has brought the school to its present status as one the most reputed schools of CBSE in Patna region. Several awards given to our honourable Principal show her indomitable spirit to lead the school to its peak point. Some of the awards received by our honourable Principal are listed below.
