GPS Tape Measure estimates the straight line distance from point 1 to point 2. Simple and easy to use. Just click the button at Point 1 and then go to Point 2 to see the distance between.

GPS is only accurate to within several meters. Even under ideal conditions, an error of 5 meters is common.

This is not an odometer. It measures displacement, not distance traveled.
