Explore various General Paper topics with our GP Issues, which will be organised into respective areas of study, like Science and Technology, Education, Culture, Youth, Religion and Social Media. Within each GP Issue, you can browse different perspectives to derive a more in-depth understanding of important topics, such as the negative impacts of social media influences on the individuals and how censorship can overcome these problems. Additionally, there are visually-informative learning videos to complement your reading and comprehension as well.

2. GP Facts:

Learn more about interesting trivia, facts and figures relating to wide-ranging GP topics. These GP Facts will be useful in providing examples to substantiate your arguments when answering comprehension application questions (AQs) and essay questions. Also, the GP Facts will include up-to-date information to ensure that you are aware of the latest developments, such as the innovations and discoveries in the fields of Science and Technology as well as Education.

3. GP Model Essays:

Do you need any reference on how to write GP Essays effectively? You can refer to our GP Model Essays, which are written by JC GP Tutor Simon Ng. These essays will be beneficial in your application of knowledge by illustrating the detailed descriptions of the introduction, main body and conclusion. Within each major section of the Essay, you can find out how to identify the question requirements and apply proper paragraph development skills. Similarly, these GP Model Essays are organised into respective GP topics, like Youth and Education, for easy reference.

4. GP Skills:

In addition to the knowledge enrichment process, you can learn how to write GP Essays and answer different types of GP Comprehension questions by reading the GP Skills articles featured in the app. For Comprehension, learn how to read the passage and apply information extraction, tackle short answer questions, summary writing and application questions (AQs). For Essay, learn how to answer different types of questions, such as the ‘Do you agree’, ‘To what extent’ and ‘What are your views’ essays.
