Welcome to the beta version of the Gira HomeServer/FacilityServer app for Android.

With this Gira HomeServer/FacilityServer BETA app for Android, you can use new improvements and functions considerably earlier than the release date of the final app version.

What is the idea?

To share newly developed improvements and functions with all HomeServer/FacilityServer users quite a while before the final app version is completed, and test them in the process, we have decided to publish the development results created between the final app versions as beta versions.

In future, you can therefore get to know innovations from the ongoing app development early on, before they are introduced to the market in the final version.

We would appreciate your feedback, as this helps us to improve the app and detect bugs.

The HomeServer/FacilityServer BETA app will not replace the regular Gira HomeServer app on your Android device, but can instead be downloaded and installed as a second HomeServer app. You can thus still use the final app version if you need it.

What does "Beta" mean?

This app is in the BETA stage, which means that the new functions and improvements provided in this version are still in development and possibly might not work perfectly yet or are not approved for the final version of the Gira HomeServer app. Beta status also means that the app still has diverse bugs and/or functions are missing.

How can you help us?

Help us by becoming a beta user of the HomeServer/FacilityServer BETA and informing us about deviations that you have found or giving us feedback on the new functions.

Therefore, use the ‘Report a bug’ button within the app or give us your feedback to [email protected].

Important information

This app can only be used in a KNX installation together with a Gira HomeServer or FacilityServer. The HomeServer/FacilityServer including QuadClient must be commissioned with the Expert software, Version 4.0 or higher. "Design 0" must also be activated in the QuadClient.
