The Galileo Green Lane initiative is run by the European GNSS Agency in cooperation with the European Commission. It is compliant with the EC Communication C(2020) 1897 final, on the implementation of the Green Lane.
The app provides border officials and drivers real-time awareness on the main Europe border crossings in terms of traffic and waiting time. The Galileo Green Lane app collects location data exclusively to update the overall traffic status. Your location is transmitted securely and anonymously to our servers only once you approach to a border crossing zone to provide statistical traffic data. All data handling is done in compliance with EU regulation on data privacy, specifically with regards to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.
The Galileo Green Lane application was developed by FoxCom and SpaceTec Partners. Visualisation is provided by Sixfold.
