《黎明三國》是一款以三國為背景的單機SLG遊戲。遊戲中登場武將眾多，包括劉備、關羽、張飛、趙雲、孫策、曹操等，多達500名武將，可選擇性相當豐富，可以通過升級自己的角色來提高其特殊能力。遊戲中會出現包括鶴翼、魚鱗在內的12種古代兵法陣型，增加到戰鬥系統之中。英雄的聲名會對戰略方面產生影響，指令數量也會得到變化。本遊戲支持多達11個原生劇本，從“黃巾之亂”到“星落五丈原”，基本總括了整個三國的歷史。
通过编辑器功能，可以创建自己的武将，构建自己的三国世界。
