Alexis Vélez Alberio, better known as Alex Zurdo was born on June 10, 1983, in the city of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Son of Angel N. Velez and Janet Alberio and husband of Dennisse Contreras sister of Daliza Contreras wife of Willy González better known as Redimi2. Since childhood he had a strong inclination for music, wrote music and also played the piano. At the age of 11 he wrote his first rap songs. At age 13 he had his first piano and learned to play it alone. In the following years he participated in several rap and reggae productions.
