Welcome to The Granary

Wholefoods, Supplements and Natural Bodycare - all in one shop!

The Granary has been trading since 1976. It was originally founded as a wholefood store, and started with sacks of rice and beans all over the place, as was the fashion in those days.

Unfortunately we ran out of space, so we started bagging up the produce elsewhere. We began with the ethos that a healthy diet was all important, and that with that healthy diet you don't need to supplement with vitamins - however we changed our minds when we started stocking a small range of vitamins, and customers came back to say how much they had been helped by them.

This started a new direction for us. After taking on a new wide range of supplements, we then committed to learning as much about them as possible in order to help our customers.

Today Kate is now a fully fledged therapist

Chris now runs the shop alongside Maggie and Jenny, who have been working for the Granary for over 20 years, and are all able to give helpful advice on matters of health and diet.

In addition Chris and Kate are both experienced dowsers, and run beginners courses on dowsing, as well as more advanced courses. Chris is an energy dowser, and also works to clear houses of negative energy. Please visit his website www.house-dowser.co.uk.
