Thuban Lodestar is an app developed for data analysis. With this app, you can analyze the data you collect from various devices (detector, magnetometer, gradiometer, GPR, etc.) via bluetooth or your phone’s magnetometer (compass) sensor in 3D, create colorful heat maps, and detect anomalies in the environment.

The types of scans you can do with the Thuban Lodestar app are:

◽Calibration: magnetometer calibration feature. This feature allows you to calibrate the magnetometer much more precisely and accurately than Android's default calibration. There is also a test mode within the app where you can compare Android's calibration with the app's calibration.

◽Surface Scan: You divide a certain area into squares and obtain a data point in each square. When all the squares are completed, you can see and analyze your data in a 3D heat map.

◽Live and Sonar Scan: You can monitor the data you receive from single or multi-sensor devices via bluetooth in real time on the screen.

◽Augmented Reality: Thanks to augmented reality (AR) features, you can instantly experience how your shots will look in the real world.

◽Interpolation: A method that allows you to estimate the empty points based on the existing numerical values. With this app, you can analyze your data more in detail using 6 different interpolation approaches.

◽Depth Analysis Based on Soil Type: This type of analysis allows you to calculate the depth of the data according to the type of soil. This type of analysis may not always give accurate results, but it is a parameter that you can use when analyzing your data.

◽Volume Display: you can see your 3D data in a more realistic and impressive way. The volume display feature helps you to examine your data from different angles and increase your depth perception.

◽3-Axis Sensor Data Analysis: For the analysis of the data collected from 3-axis sensors, you can use the vector length of the 3 axes. With this app, you can also analyze the axes individually or according to the vector changes between them.

◽Color Depths: You can choose one of the 10 different color scales to display your data in different colors.
