The Municipality of Nicosia has put on trial the Nicosia's mini buses service. The circulation of mini buses is one of the important provisions of the Integrated Mobility Plan of the capital, which has been developed by the Department of Public Works of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

The mini buses circulate in the city center by uniting the inside-the-walls city with the modern urban center from morning till late in the evening.
