Moana (/ moʊɑːnə /) is an animated 3D animated adventure animated movie 2016 produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. This is the 56th animated animated movie. Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, the film introduces Auli'i Cravalho as Moana and features Dwayne Johnson, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, Nicole Scherzinger and Alan Tudyk. The film features songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Opetaia Foa'i and an orchestra score compiled by Mark Mancina.

The film tells of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian village chief, chosen by the ocean to reunite mystical relics with a goddess. When an air attacked the island, Moana sails in search of Maui, the legendary god, in the hope of restoring Te Fiti's heart and saving her people.
