Beacon SMS

Send your location via SMS to a list of contacts at the touch of a widget.

Beacon SMS enables you to quickly send your location in an SMS message to a preset group of recipients all at the touch of a widget.

WARNING! Beacon SMS uses your phone to send SMS via your carrier/network. It may cost you money if you pay per SMS or you go over your monthly allowance!

Features

• Create a recipient group:

- by selecting contacts from your phone book.

- manually entering numbers.

• Write a custom message.

• Widget sends your Beacon SMS message.

Permissions required by this application

• Send SMS messages - pretty obvious this one!

• Access your location - required to detect your location and add it to your SMS message.

NOTE: As of Android 4.4 (KitKat), any SMS messages you send using Beacon SMS will appear in your primary SMS handling app, for example Hangouts.
