SMS Makassar is a SMS application that runs on Android-based smartphones to send and receive messages in the Makassar language. This application will convert from latin alphabet to Lontara alphabet and can do conversion to the Lontara script into image so that the image can be sent via MMS with operating systems other than Android. The Lontara script is a traditional script used for the Bugis-Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Features

- Can display messages in a Lontara script (with specific markers) and can send messages in the two methods, the message in the latin alphabet (Makassar language) or use the virtual keyboard to write Lontara script.

- Can conversion from latin alphabet (Makassar language) to Lontara alphabet and store in an external memory using .jpg format.

- In autoText function, there are 640 Makassar words in the database

Note: To start a text message conversation in Lontara script, make sure each user has to install this application.
