Salmo 82

Great Psalm

1 It is God who presides over the divine assembly; in the midst of the gods, he is the judge.

2 “How long will you acquit the guilty and favor the wicked?

3 Guarantee justice for the weak and the fatherless; uphold the rights of the needy and the oppressed.

4 Deliver the weak and the poor; deliver them from the hands of the wicked.

5 “They know nothing, they understand nothing. They wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 “I said, ‘You are gods, you are all children of the Most High.

7 But you will die as mere men; will fall like any other ruler.”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all nations belong to you.
