Salmo 114

Great Psalm

1 When Israel came out of Egypt and the house of Jacob came out from among a foreign-speaking people,

2 Judah became the sanctuary of God; Israel, his dominion.

3 The sea looked and fled, the Jordan receded;

4 the mountains skipped like rams; the hills like lambs.

5 Why flee, O sea? And you, Jordan, why retreat?

6 Why did you skip like rams, O mountains? And you hills, why did you skip like lambs?

7 Tremble at the presence of the Sovereign, O earth, at the presence of the God of Jacob!

8 He made the rock a pool, the rock a spring
