CodeBot знакомит детей к логическому мышлению за программирование.
CodeBot is a game, which in a fun and easy way, teaches children about correlations and introduces them to the logical thinking behind programming.
The scenery of CodeBot is a spaceship in which we meet the characters Toto and Doc who are working hard on repairing their spaceship as it has been hit by a comet. The player’s task is to code Toto and Doc’s robots (hence the name CodeBot) to pick up the dropped tools and bring them to the engine room by creating a path of different commands.
The commands are provided using the arrow keys from which the point of direction is set, and the player’s ability to navigate is challenged.
CodeBot offers more than 80 levels with an increasing learning curve.
By developing children’s understanding of programming, their logical and creative mindsets are strengthened. Meanwhile, the game’s increasing degrees of difficulty set the stage of cooperation and child-to-child-learning, when guiding the two robots towards Toto and Doc.
CodeBot applies to kindergarten children and children in primary school and can be used with advantage as the child’s first step towards the marvelous world of programming.
The game works well “on the go” when the amount of time might be limited, but it is also a game that serves as an invitation to play for longer periods of time because of its increasing learning curve.
