This September update has broken the game across a large selection of devices, mine included.
There have been numerous reports and complaints from the player base about black screens and incessant game crashes ever since the deployment of the update. All of this is extremely vexing as the update also served to increase the size of the game from 3.5 GB to above 5GB, and even with several GB of storage and memory left to spare, the game crashes nonetheless.
I use a Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro running Android 9.0 and since downloading the update, the game crashes the moment I launch a hunt.
Prior this update, the game ran fine and stable without any hitches on my device and I hadn't a single complaint. Now, the farthest I can get after logging in is any of the defense sectors. Any actual hunt or mission crashes it after that. A legion member who experienced similar problems told our Legion after contacting customer support on facebook, he was told to get a new device. Imagine the nerve of it, where at present he's using an ASUS gaming smartphone running Android 9.1.
I have played for over 200 days (and as a paying player) without an issue and there were exactly zero prior discussions or warnings by the devs on this topic. Please fix this immediately.
