I recommend if you don't like confusion with many things but you only want to play music, you just select a folder and make it play all the tracks on it, shuffled or repeated. I don't like to re-learn everything whenever some app makes un-needed changes on update... No fancy colors, animations, or weird online login... just the music to be played. I moved the app to internal storage & now I can use the widget.
