My default app store on my android phone no longer carries Naked Browser so I am very thankful for Apkpure making this small footprint but powerful browser app availalbe. Thank you to the developer who worked on Naked Browser! It is now 2025 and it still works on my phone and it's my daily browser on my phone.

Features are excellent in that I can easily enable or disable images or javascript to save on cellular data usage. Most sites don't need either when your searching something. I use duckduckgo search engine on this browser as it doesn't need js or images to work. Other features include the ability to "search text" on a page. This is in the bottom hiding panel>more. To bring the hidden panel up, swipe your stylus or finger upward on the bottom right of the opened app. I like the the way this browser allows me to save bookmarks in hidden panel>links. I've got several Groups such as weather, entertainment, mail, shopping, etc in my bookmarks list. Every browser app has a bit of a learning curve if your going from a desktop browser to a mobile phone browser. There's a lot of other features in Naked Browser that I haven't used.

Another great shortcut is the twirly symbol in the hidden panel. Use it by holding it for a few seconds to easily toggle javascript on or images on for the particular page you are viewing. I have this browser app on my husband's phone as well, a Samsung 5G phone (circa 2018).

I hope that someone will pickup the reins and continue working on this wonderful browser as it is still usable in the year 2025! Another hope is that it can also be made for IOs phones.

At 128Kb it's worth installing and filling with easier bookmarked pages.
I use a none-webview browser for important stuff, as indeed, Google expects you to, since the demise of the AOSP browser and stock installation of chrome.
