Radio Chardi Kala, headquartered in the heart of the Silicon Valley - Fremont, California - was established in 2010 and is currently serving the second largest Punjabi diaspora, located in the USA. Radio CK casts a unique blend of Gurbani, Punjabi and Hindi songs, news, event coverage and talk shows addressing local to international levels issues.

Our mission is to provide entertainment, knowledge and cultural ties to the Punjabi Diaspora of all ages here and worldwide. Our wide variety of programs are designed to connect all listeners to their Punjabi roots whether it be by educating adults about current issues, bringing today’s youth closer to their culture and religion, or by simply playing an old tune that strikes a chord in the hearts of the elderly.

Radio Chardi Kala has a diverse combination of highly educated professionals, prominent community figures, plus passionate and talented individuals that comprise our twenty-seven member Radio Jockey team. Each brings his or her own distinctive flavor, charm and immense ability to captivate listeners’ ears. Their exceptional skills, knowledge, taste and dedication are being appreciated by fans globally.

Radio Chardi Kala is a public driven radio station intended to serve the community, BY the community. In addition to our RJ team, equally important are our listeners. Each listener who calls in to participate in discussions, offer opinions, ask questions or simply request songs contributes to the richness and quality of our programs. Without the devotion, enthusiasm and input of them, Radio Chardi Kala would not be the same.
