About Prayer Trainer

A tool designed to establish and strengthen your prayer life

An application developed by Iron Works Church in Phoenixville, designed to assist in establishing a regular prayer schedule.

This app provides guidance for morning, afternoon, and evening prayers, suggesting topics for prayer, providing prayers to use, and giving portions of the Psalms to reflect on.

The app allows the user to set times of the day to receive notifications inviting them to pray, with suggestions depending on the time of day. These times are not dependent on each other, and can be set in any order.

In the morning, the notifications link directly to a short prayer specific to that day of the year. Afternoon notifications link to a short portion of the Psalms that one can reflect on a create their own prayer. Evening notifications do not link to anything, instead inviting the user to reflect on their day in prayer. There is also a button on the homepage that will allow the user to directly go to either the morning, daily prayer or a portion of Psalms.

This app is still in early development. Please use the feedback button on the homepage to report any issues, ask questions, provide feedback (positive or negative), or to suggest a feature. The mini-form has options for name and email, which can both be left anonymous, or can be filled in should the user like a response.

Minor fix for notifications that prevents the system that sends them from shutting off every time the app updates until you reset the alarms manually.
