This app is designed for use as a pacing tool. Time is entered as the desired lap time in seconds. The primary function is to give the coach and athlete an audio indicator at a fixed interval. For example, in short track speed skating, the beeper is started as the skater crosses the red line. With the app set to beep every half lap, the audio indicator will beep as the skater crosses the red line. If the skater has not yet reached the line, they are behind the set pace. You can use this app as a way to challenge the athlete to achieve a faster lap time, or to maintain pace for a given number of laps.

The sound can be played through the device's built-in speakers, through headphones, or over Bluetooth to external speakers.
