IDB´s Freight Transport Statistics Yearbook compiles data on the state and performance of the sector in Latin America and the Caribbean from official and private sources.

Data is organized in seven groups: general indicators, road transport, railway transport, air transport, water transport, conveyor and belt transport, and logistics activities. In each group, data refers to infrastructure, fleets, levels of activity and other relevant dimensions. The current version of the app presents data for the ten Mesoamerican countries: Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and Panama. Future versions will feature data updates and will include information for the remaining countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

The app organizes data in tables, and facilitates analysis and visualization in graphics and maps.
