Capacity control for community pools

Community pools must comply with regulations regarding the safety, hygiene and maintenance of facilities that are common to all Autonomous Communities. The Community of Owners or the Property Manager must ensure the correct application of these rules.

1.- Guarantee the quality of the water and the cleaning and disinfection of the common areas 3 times a day: beaches, showers, knobs and stairs. As well as keeping a record of all the performances.

2.- Control and keep a record of the capacity and the opening and closing hours. As established by the BOE in Order SND / 414/2020, swimming pools may be opened to the public only by appointment and a maximum capacity of 30% or that which allows compliance with the safety distance. Time shifts will be organized, outside of which you will not be able to stay in the facility.

3.- The obligatory nature or not of a lifeguard in community pools varies according to the municipality and the Autonomous Community.

In order to access the pool, the law requires the establishment of a turn-based schedule management system that ensures control of the permitted capacity.
