Ping utility

A very simple ping utility

Ping is a network utility used to verify the reachability of a host. It works by sending ICMP packets, and measuring host response time. This app allows you to quickly and easily use the Ping feature, and export the results to a text file. The user can specify the destination using both IPV4 address as the DNS name. The output also shows the following statistics: minimum response time, maximum response time, average response time and standard Deviation of responses.

ON SOME SAMSUNG DEVICES (ANDROID 4.2 AND NEWER) PING UTILITY IS NOT AVAILABLE DUE TO MANUFACTURER LIMITATIONS. HOWEVER ON THOSE DEVICES THIS APP SHOWS IF DESIRED HOST IS REACHEBLE OR NOT, PRINTING HTTP RESPONSE CODE OR AN ERROR MESSAGE.
