My brothers and sisters, if you want to know the most effective medicine to treat all diseases, both physical and mental, then the answer is "PRAY". Prayer is the most efficacious and most beneficial medicine as well as the enemy of disaster.

There are three levels of prayer in the face of calamity:

First: Prayer is stronger than disaster, so he can expel it. Second: Prayer is weaker than calamity, so calamity can overcome it so that a servant is struck by calamity, but it is possible that prayer can lighten it even though the prayer is weak. Third: The two are fighting each other, each other preventing what happened to that person.

Prayer will combat, treat, prevent, and eliminate, or lessen the disaster that befalls. Du'a is the weapon of the believers. This is as narrated by Al Hakim in his shahiih, from Ali bin Abi Tholib Rodhiallahu 'anhu, that Rasulullah Sholallahu 'alaihi wassalam said:

"Prayer is the weapon of the believers and the pillar of religion, as well as the light of the heavens and the earth"

Al Hakim narrated in his shahiih from 'Aisyah rodhiallahu 'anha, he said that Rasulullah Sholallahu 'alaihi wassalam said:

"Being alert cannot resist destiny. Prayer will benefit things that have happened and those that have not happened. When a calamity descends, prayer immediately confronts it. The two of them then fight each other until the Day of Judgment comes."
