The giant panda, or simply panda, belongs to the ursidae family. It is native to south central China, and can only be found in a few mountains mainly in Sichuan as well as in neighboring Shanxi and Gansu. Over 99% of panda’s diet is bamboo. As a result of farming and deforestation, the giant panda was once endangered. With huge protection effort, the overall population recovered, and now it is listed as “Vulnerable” in IUCN Red List.

There are more than 300 giant pandas live in captive. They can be found in 26 zoos in 18 countries. This game contains photos of the following pandas: Meng Meng, Meng Da, Meng Er, Meng Lan, Dian Dian, Da Di, Kai Kai, Xin Xin, Jian Jian, Kong Kong, Bai Yun, Kai Kai, and Jia Jia (Kai Kai and Kai Kai are two different pandas with the same English name. One lives is Macau; the other lives in Singapore.) Each panda has identical looking and personality. For example, Meng Meng is super playful, but Meng Lan, her son, is not as good in GYM.

Before the game starts, you are allowed to preview the cards for a short period of time. Both the preview time and the card turning time is adjustable in the “Setting” to fit different needs.
