Callforblood Foundation

Callforblood is an Non-governmental, independent, non-profited, like minded youth organization aiming to fulfill the gap between blood donor and patients.

As for me, I was born and raised in Karimnagar, Telangana. We have worked very hard since we were little. We lost my father when I was a child. I got used to doing a part time job while studying. In 2005, I joined a leading pharmaceutical company as a Medical Representative. They have been responding to blood donation requests since joining the job. After a few days I started getting white spots on my skin. After that, I went to the blood bank once to donate blood. Blood bank technicians advised me not to donate blood. I was very upset at the time. A few days later, I had an idea that I could do with other people without donating blood. This Callforblood is an idea that then emerged.

I had seen the pain that the patient attenders go through to locate blood in the time of emergency. The needy had to call endless number of blood donors to find blood, face delayed response from the staff, hear a ‘NO’ from most of them and finally manage to find one or two units.

I decided to change the scenario to overcome all these issues to develop one platform for all the blood related solutions. Then I decided the platform name as Callforblood.

Callforblood is the Blood Donors Information and Management System. It provides a single platform for all blood requests. This callforblood is very useful for any person searching for blood to know the blood donors.

Callforblood is an attempt by us to bridge the gap between patients and blood donors.
