Brightness Fade In

Save battery, increase the brightness gradually after turning on the display.

Description

Everyone knows it ... You look more often at your Smarphone than your think ... for the time, for messages, etc. ... Every time the display is adjusted to the stored brightness or even automatically adjusted and with it further components used, For example light sensor, proximity sensor, etc. to control the brightness of the display.

Brightness Fade In closes this gap and sets the brightness after switching on the display to the stored values which can change after some time. For example, the display brightness can be set to 10% after switching on the display, after 10 seconds it is adjusted to 25% fo brightness, after one minute to 100% or, in addition, to automatic-mode. The battery is so less stressed, if you only want to wake care of the time on your smartphone for only 1-3 seconds. The battery consumption of the smartphone over a day can be reduced.

Permissions:

modify system settings ... Is required to adjust the values for the brightness of the display as these are values in the system settings.

view network connections, full network access ... Is used exclusively to display advertising banners at the lower edge of the display (in the app) via AdMob.

run at startup ... If you use Brightness Fade In's main service it must be started after a system reboot for working properly.

For Samsung Galaxy devices, smartphones and tablets alike, error reportings have been sent in that after installing and uninstalling the app, the brightness can no longer be controlled by the system provided by the system. This couldn't be verified on several test devices.
