33 traditional fabrics from various regions in Indonesia have been designated as intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Of the 33 fabrics, among them are batik, ulos, songket, ikat, and including some fabrics that have been hard to find. One of them is a cloth from bark in Kalimantan. This fabric is rare because trees whose skin is used to make the cloth are scarce, due to damaged forests.
