A sonic app featuring Chris Watson’s sound recordings of the natural world

Travel with Nimbus to the inside of a zebra carcass as it is being eaten by vultures, to the banks of the Zambezi where a Mozambique Nightjar sings for you, and join a family of elephants sleeping in grassland on the Maasai Mara. Take the world with you as you move through your day.

Natural history sound recordist Chris Watson has been working in collaboration with arts collective The Nimbus Group to create a new immersive sonic app featuring Watson’s precise and stark sound recordings of the natural world.
