Genshin Impact recently announced a new event called Spices From The West that will require players to participate in a cooking competition. This event is part of the Zephyr of the Violet Garden update and involves helping Nazafar, a visitor from Sumeru, research different seasonings. Players must follow her recipes and will receive rewards for their efforts.
Genshin Impact Spices From the West 2023 Event: Gameplay Details
From March 31, 2023 to April 10, 2023, there will be a live event on all servers called "Spices from the West". Those who have an Adventure Rank of at least level 28 can join in. To participate and cook corresponding dishes for taste-testing by characters, players must complete the quest "Idle Teapot Talk". The rewards for this event include Primogems, Mora currency, Enhancement materials and Hero's Wit.
How to Play Genshin Impact Spices From the West 2023 Event
The activity is a simple game that involves choosing the correct ingredients and timing based on instructions given by NPC, Nazafar. Each seasoning has specific ingredients that must be gathered before preparing it. These common items include mint, horsetail, etc., so locating them should not pose much of a challenge for players.
During the event's initial 7 days, a fresh recipe for seasoning will be revealed every day. To make it successful, track the needle as it moves from one end to another and presses on the slider when it is hovering over each ingredient in order of how they are listed in the recipe. You should keep in mind that you can only attempt to create a seasoning three times.
With newly made spices, voyagers can enhance the aroma of their meals by sprinkling the seasonings over scrumptious dishes. By inviting characters to sample these culinary creations in the Serenitea Pot, their camaraderie experience points can be boosted.
When characters give feedback on the food, their personal preferences are also considered. After June 7th, Fragrant Seasonings and Fragrant Dishes will no longer be available for use and should be consumed before they expire.
