Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Collaboration Is Finally Here with Rich Quest Rewards
Fortnite is now hosting a special collaboration event to celebrate its partnership with the hit anime title Jujutsu Kaisen. Break the curse, complete quests, and win exclusive costumes, items and more!

Fortnite's newest update, 25.30, is now available on all gaming platforms. This exciting update introduces the world of Jujutsu Kaisen to the battle royale realm through a special event called Break the Curse. During this event, players can participate in quests within the game and earn cursed techniques, cosmetic items, and other rewards as they progress.
Two Cursed abilities to learn in Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Collab
Cursed llamas can be found wandering around the island. When one of these llamas is broken, it gives two cursed abilities: the Straw Doll Technique and the Hollow Technique: Purple.
- Straw Doll Technique: The Straw Doll Technique involves quickly hitting nails filled with negative energy using a hammer. This approach can be used to ensure a strong and successful win.
- Hollow Technique: Purple: Often referred to as "Purple," the cursed methodology is a secretive combination of skills that destroys structures in its path and slowly harms enemies.
Fortnite Break the Curse! Event Schedule
The event called "Break the Curse!" is a small Battle Pass that focuses on the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. It works in a similar way to the Find the Force event, which had a mini-Battle Pass based on Star Wars.
In order to obtain Cursed Energy, participants must complete Break the Curse! missions. This earned energy helps unlock different items and Level Up Tokens in Jujutsu Kaisen gradually. As the event goes on, more Grades will become available, allowing players to access more quests. A total of five Grades will be given to players.
- The Grade 4 Quests are live starting now.
- The Grade 3 Quests go live on August 10 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 2 Quests go live on August 15 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 1 Quests and Special Grade Quests go live on August 17 at 9 AM ET.
When players finish each grade, they will get a Sorcerer Grade token. If they collect five of these tokens, they will receive a special reward. The Break the Curse! event for Jujutsu Kaisen will be available until August 25, 2023 at 2 AM ET. This allows fans to participate in quests and earn rewards until Chapter 4 Season 3 ends.
Fortnite Break the Curse! Quest & Rewards
During the Break the Curse event, participants can choose to complete the Standard Reward Track for free or they have the option to purchase the Premium Reward Track for 1,000 V-Bucks. This allows them to earn additional rewards. Players can easily get the Premium Reward Track by selecting "Upgrade" in the bottom right corner of the Break The Curse! section.
Once players complete this task, they will immediately receive the Streetwear Yuji Itadori costume and gain access to the final level of rewards. Moreover, by successfully completing all five Grades in the Break the Curse! quest section, players can unlock the NUE Glider. Alongside these quest rewards, three new outfits are now purchasable in the item shop.
- Megumi Fushiguro: A prodigy who enrolled at Jujutsu High as a second-class Sorcerer.
- Nobara Kugisaki: A determined Sorcerer who came to the city from the countryside.
- Satoru Gojo: Widely known as the strongest Sorcerer of modern times.
The latest update for Fortnite (version 25.20) has successfully fixed two problems that players were experiencing. One issue, where players had trouble seeing things clearly in the game due to reduced rendering distances, has been resolved. Additionally, another problem was solved which caused players to still see their Ranked Battle Royale rank even after switching to Ranked Zero Build mode.
