Virtus Roma are a basketball team based in Rome, established in 1960. During their history they played an important role in the Italian basketball scenario, having won several trophies, such as a Scudetto in the 1982/83 season and a Champions Cup in 1983/84 one. Winner of the Serie A2 for the current season at the historic Palazzo dello Sport, the club is ready to return at the top of Italian basketball.
