✝ The new Ang Bible (AB) is the latest revision of the Holy Bible in the Tagalog language.

✝ In 1902, the American Bible Society (ABS) and the British and Foreign Bible Society (BFBS) published the first New Testament in Tagalog. Not long after, the entire Bible was printed in 1905. The translation was called Ang Bible. This version was sponsored by users of the Tagalog language for a long time.

✝ Like the first Ang Bible, this review is a formal translation. This means that translators struggled to faithfully reflect the form of the original biblical languages ​​in Tagalog, to the extent permitted by their grammar and syntax. The Stuttgartensia Hebrew Bible was used as the basis for the Old Testament translation for this review. Although the Westcott-Hort Greek text of 1881 was used for the New Testament of the first Ang Bible, the translators of this review used the fourth Greek New Testament edition of the United Bible Societies.
