Its primary objectives were to evangelize and accompany rural communities, encouraging their socio, economic and cultural development in transmitting predominant languages in the territory of the Diocese of Verapaz: Q'eqchi', Achi, Pocomchí, and also encouraging Castilian predilection for culture and education, music.
