Islam teaches many ways and paths for Muslims to achieve success in any profession. In fact, Islam recommends competing with each other to achieve success, both success in seeking sustenance and success in doing good deeds.

In the Islamic view, achieving success must be accompanied by things that are deemed to be justified according to Sharia. To achieve success, it must be based on at least five main pillars.

Sincere intentions. With sincerity a person will avoid despair and stress.

Endeavor. In any religion, endeavor or effort is legally obligatory, so achieving success must be done with as much effort as possible.

Prayer. After effort, in order not to be trapped in pride, it must be followed by prayer. Praying is one of our obligations that should not be ignored. Because people who never pray and only rely on effort are arrogant people.

Tawakal. Trusting means surrendering completely to Allah. Because everything is determined only by Allah. Intentions, endeavors and prayers are only part of our obligations in carrying out and achieving something, and only Allah determines the success or failure of everything we try.

Patience and gratitude. The final pillar for achieving success is patience and gratitude, because this is the measure of a believer. Namely, if he gets a disaster (problem/trial) he is patient, and if he gets a gift (favor) he is grateful.
