Landau is an ever evolving designer footwear and clothing store based on the coast in Folkestone in Kent.

Founded in 1982 as a Landau Sounds Record store, Landau’s passion and enthusiasm for products has been moulded by their customer’s and their coastal surroundings throughout the years. Evolving from music, to travel, to ski and now with a firm focus on designer footwear and clothing, Landau have listened to their loyal customers and changed accordingly. We love introducing new brands you’ll love with a service level to match and what’s more your feedback either through social media or email is invaluable to listening to what you like. We are always just a click or a phone call away.

Landau are proud of a lot of things and rightfully so, but we’ve managed to narrow it down to our favourite four:

1. Our collection of the greatest brands - Landau pride ourselves on our collection of the coolest designer fashion and footwear brands on the planet. A great mix of the classic global brand names like Nike and Adidas with street label brands such as Carhartt, and Franklin and Marshall and Vintage labels like Lyle & Scott really make us stand out from the crowd. Over the years Landau have built up great relationships with the biggest brands and so can introduce new lines on some amazing special edition trainers from Nike, Adidas Vans, Converse Timberland or even Ugg Australia to name but a few.

2. Our Location – Landau are proud of being born in Folkestone and are passionate about the town reaching its huge potential. With 32 years since we were founded, Landau feel like a real pillar of the Folkestone shopping community and love to see our town flourish. The Creative Quarter in the Old High Street and Harbour area is an amazing area of Folkestone where peoples creativity is encouraged supported and enabled to flourish and offers aspiring artists, retailers and business people a chance to become a part of our ever growing community especially in the historic heart of Folkestone.

3. Our Employees – In all Landau have 21 great staff – some part time some full – They are passionate about the products they sell and all have personal favourites so why not contact us online or in store to get our advice on the latest looks or what’s on trend right now.
