The purpose of App is to serves as a platform for provision of preventive services to all sections of the population especially to marginalized and vulnerable communities and also monitor the execution of VHSND day at root level as per the pre planned annual roster prepared by Health Department. The App will also help the citizen to view the VHSND calendar & notification published by Health department and Citizen can visit nearest VHSND place accordingly. While launching the App, Collector and DM expressed his pleasure and appreciated the efforts of NIC .

Introduction & Objective: VHSND (VILLAGE HEALTH SANITIZATION & NUTRITION DAY) is to be organized in every village once in a month at the Anganwadi Centre in which health services are being provided by Health & WCD departments to pregnant woman. Health services are very important from the nutritional point of view, For the prevention of malnutrition in children, So proper care and health check up of pregnant mother is essential in VHSND. The specific objectives of VHSND are to:- Improve the availability of health, nutrition, early childhood development and sanitation services at the community level. Act as a platform for counseling to bring improvement in health, nutrition and sanitation practices at individual, family and community level.
